Final Presentation

I have really learned so much in this class and have realized how much I can do for students so they can work independently (even absent students) and still succeed in the classroom.  Here are some of my suggestions for using in any classroom but this is for my science class.]

 

Film Noir

For this assignment I had to stop and let my creativity flow.  Very difficult for me and my busy life with three boys and sports.  So, late one night I had to play videographer and actor in order to complete my assignment.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.

 

Class Project

For our class we have to show how we are going to use our digital media in our classroom.  I've decided to create my own lab videos and demonstrations for students that may be absent from class so they can still see lab results.  The video below is one that I did earlier before I had Corel and, of course, it was my first video project.  I have no idea where the music came from because I did not select it.  I also could not remember where I saved the first files to make a new version in Corel.  But..... This is an example of how I would use the camera in my science class.

 

Easter 2013

Just wanted to make a little video of my son to remember Easter this year.  Since it was raining, we had a little egg hunt inside but he still had fun.  I think he enjoyed the egg decorating the most.

 

SPRING BREAK!!

Well, I really didn't go anywhere during spring break but I did get a few things accompished, had fun and learned a few things along the way.  From putting out my Easter decorations, playing at Chuckie Cheese's, doing my laudry and watching James Bond movies, I had a pretty good break.  As you'll see, I started out with a nice, refreshing cup of tea and ended with a desperately deserved soak after all that fun.  Hope you enjoy it!

 

Point Of View

For our assignment this week we had a choice of home and family, community or point of view.  I chose point of view.  My first choice was to video my son playing outside from his point of view but I had problems with my camera settings and could not video outside.  Then I decided to try and be the car going around the race track but, once again, camera settings were not cooperating.  So I finally borrowed a camera from someone else in class and came up with the following video.
